Chitti is a small-town romantic comedy where one small mistake ends up disrupting the lives of many. The story opens with Shraddha getting married off against her wishes. So her lover Santosh hatches a plan to elope. He sends a letter via his younger brother and his gang to her, but they end up misplacing it while on their way back. Worse, the letter ends up with a post master! Thereafter, what ensues is an avalanche of comical errors and misunderstandings that just cannot be missed. The fifth story is of the stable married couple - Vinay-Seema, whose 15 year marriage is threatened when the husband wants more than just boring, suburban life. The sixth couple's story is of Isha-Sohail as a rural couple unable to give vent to their passion. Seema lives a wealthy lifestyle with her widowed mom in Bombay, India. Her mother is a compassionate soul who rents out several rooms in a self-owned building, which is occupied by very poor and nearly destitute people.
