In the crowded bylanes of Old Delhi, Shuklaji runs a small photo studio as a facade for a small-time crime. He bumps into Neena on his first respectable job assignment and falls for her. While, Ronnie finds admission in Amol's gang at the behest of kidnapping a diamond merchant, Purshottam Das, Satbir on the other hand takes to a clean life and pursues Neena. The fifth story is of the stable married couple - Vinay-Seema, whose 15 year marriage is threatened when the husband wants more than just boring, suburban life. The sixth couple's story is of Isha-Sohail as a rural couple unable to give vent to their passion. Bezubaan, as the name suggests, is the story of a woman (Reena Roy) who suffers silently; society and family pressures effectively stifling any protest she might have voiced.
