This is a story of two gangsters, Vishnu (Vishnuvardhan) and Shankar (Shankar Nag), who keep on fighting with each other. Vishnu and his gang members are close to Parvathajji (Jayanthi), a widowed villager who is taking care of two orphan kids, Raja (Master Manjunath) and his sister. Jayanthi herself offers all the jewels and plays coy, before her father. As the movie proceeds, son, increasingly known as Bettada Kalla is pitted against the father and only one can survive.
